PROPELZ

Design and build a water rocket within the specified dimensions robust enough to withstand the pressure and when launched from the launch pad achieves the maximum altitude above ground level.

Rules

TEAM SIZE: MAX. 02 MEMBERS
ONLY SINGLE STAGE ROCKETS ARE ALLOWED. (MAXIMUM 55 CM,2.5L)
PRESSURE: 45-50 PSI.
ONLY WATER SHOULD BE USED AS THE PROPELLANT.
NO SHEET METAL OR GLASS PARTICLES SHOULD BE USED IN MAKING ROCKETS.
AIR COMPRESSOR AND NOZZLE WILL BE PROVIDED.

IGNITED MINDS

A game which can also be called a mind sport wherein the players, either as individuals or in teams attempt to answer questions posed to them correctly, in order to win a prize.

THE PARTICIPANTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE ANY ELECTRONIC GADGETS.

DRAFTRIX

A technology that engineers, product developers and designers use to create functional, virtual prototypes of three-dimensional objects.

INDIVIDUAL EVENT.

SOFTWARE PROVIDED:SOLIDWORKS.
MACHINE COMPONENT DRAWINGS WILL BE PROVIDED IN 2D FOR MODELLING.

JIT MACHINING

A prototyping and manufacturing process that creates the desired shape by removing unwanted material from a larger piece of material.

Rules

Individual event.
Prelims will be conducted.
Raw material and Lathe will be provided.
Judging Criteria: Accuracy, Surface finish, and time.

PITSTOP

A tool that can disassemble executables to the extent that the generated code can be assembled back to working binaries with manual effort.

Rules

Individual Event.
Assembly and disassembly of automotive components.
Prelims will be conducted.
Components and tools will be provided.
Judging Criteria: Completion of assembly with minimum time.
